Dr. Michelle Rodrigues
Dr. Rodrigues obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from Monash University with Honours in 2004 and completed her post-graduate dermatology training in Melbourne. At the conclusion of her training, she was the awarded the Founder’s Medal for procedural dermatology as the highest scoring graduate nationally.
Dr. Rodrigues has worked and continues to collaborate with world-renowned pigment and skin of colour centres in the U.S.A, Europe and Asia. She has published extensively in journals and dermatology textbooks and continues to lecture locally and internationally. She is on the board of directors of the Skin of Color Society, is a council member for the Asian Society for Pigment Cell Research and the Vitiligo Association of Australia, and chairs the global narrative committee of the Global Vitiligo Foundation.
In 2017, Dr. Michelle Rodrigues assembled a dermatology team that saw and treated hundreds of patients in remote villages in the north of India through a non-for-profit outreach organization, Sampan. Dr. Rodrigues and Chroma Dermatology are committed to sustaining this dermatology outreach program and expanding these services to those in need over time.
