Does it hurt?

Vivace^TM is virtually pain-free. At Chroma Dermatology, a numbing cream is applied to the treatment area about 30 minutes before the treatment. Our patients state minimal to zero discomfort with their treatments

Is it safe in all skin types?

As long as the clinic and operator are able to diagnose your problem accurately and are aware of your skin phototype (colour and ethnicity), the appropriate settings can be used to treat any skin type

How many treatments do I need?

The number of treatments needed will depend on what we are treating, your skin type and even the time of the year. Generally, 3 treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart are needed to notice textural and tightening benefits.

When can I wear make-up?

It is best not to wear make-up for at least 6 hours after treatment because micro-channels created by the needles remain open for this period of time. Specific creams, serums and post-treatment advice will be given to maximise the response to treatment. Because there is no bleeding, oozing, weeping or crusting after the treatment, most people head back to work on the same day!

Is this treatment only for women?
